I have a very self-deprecating sense of humour.
From my point of view though, if you can’t laugh, what can you do? Cry?
I do thus always appreciate good high quality jokes, even against myself our causes I believe in. If it’s funny, it’s funny. I thought this on the way to a recording of Radio 4’s The Unbelievable Truth at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill. The show was good and the panel of David Mitchell, Miles Jupp, Lou Sanders, Henning Wehn and John Finnemore. The first two episodes of the 18th season were recorded. It was free, and I felt guilty at having not paid for it. Really high quality, I hadn’t heard the show before. The format is each pannelist has to talk about a topic. Everything they say is false apart from five facts, which the rest of the panel has to spot. I recommend you checking it out in April when it airs.
In Malta, the beautiful Azure Window Arch has collapsed in the sea.
This is sad as the rock formation is very picturesque. It serves a reminder that the beat of time continues to tick and some things are unavoidable. I certainly worry about things that are out of my power. I wish I didn’t, as life would be much simpler that way. I always find it better just going with flow, and let nature take its’ natural cause, neither trying to force things from happening or not happening. Just see how it goes. Some things are bound to happen, you can’t stop that.
In the Champions League, two teams have gone into the this round of fixtures with 4 goal advantages. One has gone through. Bayern destroyed Arsenal 1–5. Arsenal did well, then collapsed. I think the Koscielny incident was a penalty but not a red, not even a yellow. Barcelona were ruthless, the main difference is Barcelona have better players and they have a winning mentality. They didn’t give up but Arsenal did.
