Rob Brydon has hinted that Gavin and Stacey could be making a comeback.

I felt that the show was a good example of the reasonably good comedies produced by the BBC during the 2000s. In the case of this one, there’s definitely more they can do to explore the characters and it would be great to catch up on the likes of Smithy and Nessa.

A tenth year anniversary could work really well.

Speaking of BBC productions based in Wales, what’s happened to Torchwood?

I did enjoy Miracle Day but do agree the 10 week long arc dragged out too much. The Children of Earth with five episodes, five nights in a row worked really well. Ianto may have died (it was 2011, spoilers don’t count) but Jack and Rex are immortal and Gwen’s still alive.

The show was good for its’ much darker tones but also it’s relevant comedy helped by John Barrowman’s acting.

Bring back Torchwood, I say!

I think sometimes people from abroad don’t understand the British sense of humour. Whilst, in other places, you’re always friendly to your best friends. In Britain, you roast the crap out of each other and destroy your collective self esteems.

So, whilst I do really appreciate someone sticking up for me when my friends were rinsing me, I do feel it was a mountain over a molehill. However, my friends were approaching a line.

What do you think?

Where is the line when it comes to “banterful roasting”?

^ This last bit was written on the request of my friends, but it’s an interesting discussion, so I agreed.
