Blue passports could be making a return to Britain.
I’m all for it actually, I like a bit of blue. Our passports need to re-designed post Brexit anyway.
I think the cheapest option would be to make all current passports still valid to their expiry date but when you renew them, you’ll get a new blue one.
That would avoid it becoming another huge big deal.
Oxford’men have beaten Cambridge with Cambridge’s women also triumphing in the boat races.
I’ve seen people criticise the races for being elitist. But it’s a sporting contest that is free to watch. No-one forces people to watch it, the competitors do not brag. I don’t understand it.
Some people will moan about everything and anything.
There’s not much for me to write as I’ve been working all weekend, hopefully that improves as I’ve got Easter!
I always find Easter interesting as a religious holiday. Never understood why it was called “Good Friday” when Jesus was crucified. But it’s still a holiday that people have lost the significance for, I’ve not seen anyone do anything for Lent.
As an agnostic who supports secularism, I do still think religion is more of a force for good. I believe religion amplifies the qualities we already have in us and I believe most humans are decent people. So the fact that much of the country is beginning to lose faith, I feel might be a bad thing.
In the words of Friedrich Nietzsche: “God is dead and we killed him.” I think if God were to die, it would be a bad thing. My beliefs are a bit strange, I lean towards believing when discussing with an atheist and atheism when discussing with a believer. Philosophy hasn’t given me answers, just more questions.
Have a nice weeks, folks. ❤ It’s spring and sunny!
