Daily Musings — 24th March 2017
Recently, I’ve written a lot about being quite shy and not getting as much out of the social side of university.
I’m more sociable now, but we have so much coursework to do, no-one is really up for banter. Though I have made a few new friends, one is my biggest musings fan. Which goes to show, I either time things really well or really badly. No in betweens.
Diafra Sakho is out till the end of the season.
I’d removed him from our squad in my head, anyway. He had been back training but I just don’t know anymore, people call Carroll a donkey for his injuries yet Sakho gets an easy ride.
Carroll has never refused to play or train for us either. I think Diafra should go because he has too many issues to deal with, he needs to have a fresh start and he’s burnt his bridges.
Lastly, take a look at this letter I’ve linked to here.
As I wrote in recent musings, it is important for people to remain calm and not let hate get in their way, but to also appreciate the services who will protect us. This letter warms my heart. I’ve seen police officers on forums say the public reaction has been positive but in a couple of weeks they’ll go back to receiving abuse. I hope they don’t. Any decent human being will hope they don’t.
Have a nice weekend, folks. ❤
