As I’m typing this Valencia are leading Real Madrid 2–1.
Simone Zaza has scored the first goal and player really well according to what I’ve read. I knew there was a player in there, he just was not right mentally after his penalty miss in the summer. He then came into a situation, where he had 15 games to prove himself in a foreign league. This would be difficult enough without Andy Carroll picking up a serious injury against Astra and a failure to sign a second top draw striker, something we still haven’t done. There is Zaza’s performances for us cannot be used as an appropriate measure for his ability.
Thus, it’s not too big a surprise, he has done well at Valencia.
In the time it has taken me to get permission for one point, Valencia have won 2–1.
Astronomers, meanwhile, have discovered a sun with seven earth sized planets orbiting it. Of these seven, three could sustain life. I’m always really excited about this, I always like exploring and discovering. My wanderlust is strong. Nothing will excite my more than the opportunity to one day explore new planets. This is almost certainly impossible in my lifetime, as the planets are 40 light years away, so I do feel kind of upset about how late the discovery is and how early I was born. But still, hopefully this discovery can inspire a new generation of physicists, who can help make inter planetary travel possible quicker than otherwise.
Lastly, as it made me chuckle, a group of friends went out clubbing to XOYO in Shoreditch. One of my friends, who will remain anonymous, wasn’t allowed in and had to go home while the others partied. Now, I’m a “one for all, all for one, no man gets left behind” kind of guy, so I thought it wasn’t very nice for him to be left to go home back alone. Then I found out why he wasn’t left in. Word of advice, to get into a club, use a piece of ID with a date of birth written on it. As my friend used his university ID, which only proves his right to use university facilities and not his age, he was asking for it.
