So, spring is here.

Winter was very moody in terms of weather. It was either really hot or really cold, nothing in the middle. Which makes it hard to plan what you’re going to wear, which is why I think a lot of people caught colds, I had two. One of which was quite bad. Man flu actually is a thing. Your body just gives up entirely and everything above my chest hurts. Badly, I don’t like it.

Iron Mike has withdrawn from the England squad.

Overall, I like the squad though. Nathan Redmond and James Ward-Prowse have received long overdue call-ups. Michael Keane has really matured since signing for Burnley after years as a youngster at Manchester United and could fit in well should he return to Old Trafford. Gareth Southgate should be given credit for picking a squad based on form rather than reputation, although I’m not sure if Jesse Lingard has done enough to warrant a place.

Good to see Jermain Defoe back in the squad. I don’t think he was ever going to leave Sunderland after photos of him with Bradley were released. I think Jermain really cares about the boy so was never going to leave and good on him, I say.

A friend of mine had a birthday yesterday. Now, I don’t wish to go into much detail due to respect of privacy, but if you have a friend engaging in something which can harm then, say something.

Do not be an enabler, if they choose not to listen then that is their decision. But you should feel glad you said something not guilty, because at the end of the day, that’s all you can really do.
